The Supporting Families Programme aims to benefit the lives of children and families through using the tool of sport and activity. We mainly do this by offering subsidised places to families, charities and organisations, enabling and encouraging children to enjoy sport and activity in the school holidays which, without our support, they may not otherwise have access to.
Subsidised places are for individual families facing difficult circumstances, including terminal illness, bereavement, financial hardship, fleeing domestic abuse and violence and other challenging family circumstances. We also subsidised places for organisations and charities providing places to the families supported by organisations including Barnardo’s, Mums in Need and Time Matters.
Subsidised places are also available for Service families as we both operate camps on military bases and offer places within our non-military camps.
Our Supporting Families programmes mainly impacts children and families in the UK but can also cover International projects.
